We collect information you provide (e.g., project goals, answers to the assessment, email), and technical data (device/browser info, IP address, usage analytics). If you purchase, limited billing data is processed by our payment provider (e.g., Stripe).

How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve Teian, generate recommendations, process payments, prevent abuse, and communicate with you (e.g., product updates, support). We may use aggregated, de-identified data to improve scoring quality.

Legal Bases (where applicable)

We rely on one or more of: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (e.g., service improvement, security), consent (for optional features), and compliance with legal obligations.

Sharing & Processors

We don’t sell your personal data. We use trusted processors to operate Teian (e.g., hosting/CDN, analytics, authentication, database, payments such as Vercel, Supabase, Stripe). They process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.

Data Security & Retention

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, then delete or anonymize it.

Your Rights

Subject to law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. You can withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

International Transfers & Children

Data may be processed in countries other than yours with adequate protections in place. Teian is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
